The Chilka lake merges with the Bay of Bengal at this location. It is amazing how the calm lake waters and the turbulent ocean waves merge so beautifully with each other. This is the shot of the boundary. You see less and less waves coming to the shore as you approach the boundary and at this point they annhilate themselves.
I took a trip to the South-Western state of Orissa. We went to the famous Chilka lake (which is actually famous for its dolphins). We were in a boat when we saw this guy arranging the fishing nets. It was a stricking image.
I am going to post some pictures from my recent trip to India here. This India is relatively unknown - unreached. The nature is less tempered with - relatively of course.
